EbSnap is operated by Maas AI Labs LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. Information We Collect
From eBay OAuth Login
- Your eBay user ID (username)
- OAuth access token and refresh token (encrypted at rest)
From Your Use of the Service
- Listing history: titles, prices, condition, eBay item IDs
- AI usage counts (listings generated, image edits, text generations this month)
- Your subscription tier and billing status (managed by Stripe)
What We Do NOT Collect
- Your eBay password
- Your payment card details (handled entirely by Stripe)
- Your personal address, phone number, or government ID
- Browsing history outside of EbSnap
2. Photos & AI Processing
When you upload photos to generate a listing, those images are sent directly to Google's Vertex AI (Gemini) for analysis. Photos are not stored on our servers — they are transmitted in memory only for the duration of the API call and immediately discarded. Google processes these images under their own privacy policy and data processing terms.
AI-cleaned or enhanced photos you choose to keep are stored temporarily in your browser session only and are not persisted to our database.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate you and maintain your session
- To generate AI-powered listing suggestions using your photos
- To publish listings to eBay on your behalf
- To track your monthly usage against your plan limits
- To process subscription payments via Stripe
- To detect and prevent abuse of the AI system
We do not sell, share, rent, or use your data for advertising.
4. Third-Party Services
eBay
We use eBay's API to publish your listings. eBay's own privacy policy governs how they handle your data.
Google Vertex AI
Photo analysis and listing text generation. Images are processed in-flight and not retained by EbSnap. Subject to Google Cloud's data processing terms.
Stripe
Payment processing for Pro and Power subscriptions. We never see or store your card details — Stripe handles all payment data.
Vercel & Supabase
Hosting and database infrastructure. Your data is stored in Supabase's US-region PostgreSQL database.
5. Data Retention
Your listing history and account data are retained for as long as your account is active. eBay OAuth tokens are refreshed automatically and revoked when you disconnect your eBay account. You can permanently delete all your data at any time from the Settings page.
6. Security
eBay OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access to the database is restricted to the EbSnap application only. We implement industry-standard security practices, but no system is 100% secure — use EbSnap at your own risk.
7. Your Rights
- Access: You can view your listing history in your dashboard at any time.
- Deletion: Delete your account from Settings to permanently remove all data.
- Disconnect: Revoke eBay access at any time from Settings or directly in your eBay account settings.
- Portability: Email us to request a copy of your data.
8. Children
EbSnap is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of EbSnap after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
